About the Role

Nature , the international journal of science, is looking for an eagle-eyed Subeditor to help us maintain our high standards of accuracy and readability.

The successful candidate will be comfortable reading and writing about science, a stickler for grammar and facts, and able to work autonomously and flexibly as part of a close-knit team to subedit articles for both print and online in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Subediting material accepted or written for publication by Nature Â within production deadlines and to the highest possible standard
• Writing crisp and engaging headlines and standfirsts that don’t resort to cliché
