To provide interpreting and translating support to non-English speakers, we are currently looking for bilingual/multilingual individuals to join our freelance interpreting team. We provide a host of services including but not limited telephone interpreting, video interpreting, face to face interpreting, translations, transcription and much more.

Basic Requirement:

• Valid Right to Work document without restrictions.
• Fluency in English and your chosen language(s) up to C1 level. (Please note proficiency proof will be required.)
• Approx. 100 hours interpreting experience – either as a professional or through voluntary work
• Valid Security Clearance. (Basic, Standard or Enhanced may be required depending on services you are providing)

What will you be doing?

As a freelance interpreter, you will attend appointments either in person or remotely to support our clients and their non-English speaking service users.

Having one of the below qualifications is preferred, but not essential:

• Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
• Community Interpreting Level 3 or above.
• Degree in interpreting ([Language] to English)
• BA in Translation or Interpreting
• BA in Languages, Linguistics, or any related discipline
